Our Sponsors & Partners

In 1994, two mothers who each lost their only son to AIDS gave birth to an idea to help raise funds for the agencies who helped care for their sons before they died. Seventeen years later, The Richmond Ermet AIDS Foundation (REAF) has distributed well over $2.5 million to 33 AIDS service agencies.  Over that time period, REAF has also produced some of the Bay Area’s biggest and best, star-studded, Broadway-themed entertainment events and numerous other smaller shows, parties and receptions.

But REAF isn’t just about producing shows. Our mission is to ensure life-sustaining services continue to be available for people living with HIV and AIDS. Funds provided by REAF have provided medical and hospice care, home delivered meals, day care, case management services, job retraining and benefits counseling, HIV testing, psychological counseling, housing, AIDS prevention education and outreach plus much more. We also create awareness about the services available for people with HIV and AIDS.

With the AIDS pandemic extending into its third decade, funds have never been more needed for AIDS services. Most AIDS service agencies have seen dramatic declines in funding while also seeing increased demand for services.  Some agencies have been forced to close their doors entirely, unable to weather the economic downturn. Others are struggling and desperately need out help.

Sponsors receive a wide range of benefits including tickets to benefit concerts for employees or clients, complimentary ads in gala programs, logo display in programs, invitations, email promotions and on our website and other benefits as detailed in the enclosed proposal. Sponsors have also seen a return on their sponsor investment dollars ranging from 200% to 300% in funds distributed to beneficiary agencies — funds that provide direct services to people living with or at risk of HIV.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We’re asking you to considering becoming a sponsor of Help is on the Way XVII on Sunday, August 21st at the Herbst Theatre and/or Help is on the Way for the Holidays X on Sunday, December 4th at the Herbst Theatre. Sponsor levels and benefits are described in the following pages. Sponsors help underwrite the cost of the production and help ensure that 100% of the ticket sales go directly the beneficiary agencies.

REAF Partner/Sponsor benefits are tiered by level, and may include:
  • tickets to Help is on the Way and other events admission to the pre-show reception and silent auction hosted by premier Bay Area restaurants and wineries,
  • corporate logo placement in programs, invitations, posters, flyers and all display advertising,
  • gift bag access for placement of select promotional items,
  • acknowledgment from the stage at the gala by guest celebrities or REAF principals, complimentary display advertising in the souvenir program book,
  • invitations to all host/sponsor receptions,
  • logo display in this website with links to corporate site,
  • testimonial solicitation from corporate representatives for REAF promotional videos and other collateral materials,
  • invitations to promotional events to publicize corporate support of the Foundation,
  • sponsor exposure via promotional materials distributed to media outlets,
  • networking opportunities with other Foundation partners,
  • invitations for key corporate representatives to serve on the Foundation Advisory Board or special committees.
