Macquarie – Iron passenger Sailing Ship: Original Oil on Cavas 16 x 19. The Macquarie was intended to be the finest passenger ship ever built of iron. Launched in 1875. Artist Eferne S. Erese, whose work has been exhibited by the Ayala Museum and Kawilihan Art Gallery in Metro, Manilia;Cultural Center of the Philippines, and Angels University Foundation. The frame is handcrafted made from the wood of the Koa Tree, the regional hardwood of the Hawaiian Islands.
