MESSAGE FROM KEN:

We need your help! AIDS is still a major issue in the Bay Area. I've lost so many friends personally, it's now hard to remember all their names. REAF has given me an avenue to try and make a real difference to this fight and help ensure life-sustaining services continue to be available to the thousands of people in the Bay Area still struggling with this disease. We each must choose the battles and causes that affect our lives and do what we can to make a difference. This is my cause and I invite you to support me in my efforts to support REAF in the fight against AIDS.

When we started REAF, we believed if you're going to ask people for money, give them something good in return. For nearly 14 years now we've produced some of the best entertainment events in the San Francisco Bay Area -- in my humble opinion. I've been touched by the generosity of so many people when it comes to giving something back, to helping make a difference in the lives of people they don't know and may never meet. But I assure you that there are people who are receiving health care that may not have, who are receiving home delivered meals who might otherwise be going hungry and who are learning how to protect themselves from becoming infected. Every dollar makes a difference when combined with other dollars.

THE NEED*****
In the past, corporate funding covered most of the costs of running REAF. But over the past few years, corporate funding has decreased dramatically and, in order to keep the foundation going, we must raise additional funds to cover our operating costs so that we can continue to distribute all of the proceeds from our events to our beneficiary agencies. The only was we can continue to produce our "Help is on the Way" events is to raise additional funds to cover our operations expenses.
